Descriptive adjectives are used to clarify or add detail to a sentence. These words include feelings, colors, sizes, shapes, etc. We’ve created a list of 50 adjectives and related descriptive adjectives to expand your kids’ vocabulary.

Science help

In grade 2 science, students work on how plants survive, pollinate and disperse seeds. Our worksheets help students practice plants.

Learning place value is important as it helps students understand the magnitude of numbers. You could say place value teaches the "why" behind the basics of math, beyond memorization and repetition.

Grammar help

Is dog a countable or an uncountable noun? One dog, two dogs. It’s countable. Is water a countable or an uncountable noun? One water, two water? That doesn’t work! Water is uncountable.

Science help

In grade 2 science, student learn about the Earth’s surface and how it continually changes. We have some worksheets for them to practice earth and water.
