Writing vowel blends is harder for students as not only do they need to recognize the blend sound, but also know the two letters that together make that sound (e.g. 'ea' makes the 'ee' sound). In these vowel blend sound worksheets, students write the missing letters (a vowel blend) for each pictured word. The goal is instant recognition of the sounds of the various vowel blends.
