Length word problem worksheets (customary and metric)

Below are three versions of our grade 4 measurement worksheet with word problems on length.  The first worksheet uses customary units (inches, feet); the second worksheet uses metric units (mm, cm, m).  The third worksheet mixes the units, though no conversion of units between the systems is required.  The calculations are kept simple to emphasize the underlying meaning of the problems.
