Time Search is a great general resource for students, kids interested in history not to mention history buffs. Let’s try it out. Go to Time Search, and narrow the theme search to “astronomy, space” in “BC” and you’ll receive a timeline of astronomy milestones.
You can enter any year, press go and be shown a list of significant events that happened that year. Many kids like searching for events that happened in the year they were born. Here are history milestones for the year my daughter was born.
Scroll up or down the list to see events that happened early or late in that year. Time Search offers options for refining event lists by theme or region in addition to the obvious date refinement option.
